RHA® Collection Palm Beach Gardens

Dr. Mandal was one of the first plastic surgeon injectors in the country to use the RHA® collection of fillers, also known as resilient-HA when it first became available in 2020 for the treatment of dynamic wrinkles.

RHA Collection

What are the Benefits of Resilient-HA?

Natural hyaluronic acid in your skin helps provide moisture, volume, and structure to your skin. Over time, your skin produces less hyaluronic acid.

The RHA® or Resilient-HA collection of fillers is the only group of hyaluronic acid fillers FDA-approved for the treatment of dynamic wrinkles and folds. This “resilience” feature enhances its ability to integrate with the tissue it is injected into, making it less subject to the muscle forces associated with facial expression with less likelihood of being visible with facial expression.

Your face makes millions of movements and micro-movements daily like squinting, frowning, laughing, talking, eating, and drinking. Normally, when fillers are injected into hyper-mobile wrinkles or folds such as those associated with expression, eating, drinking, and speaking, the treated area can appear stiff or unnatural when the face moves. The filler is also more likely to be quickly resorbed by the body in response to these repetitive muscle forces acting on the skin.

RHA Collection

The 4th Dimension in Facial Injectables

The “R” in RHA® stands for resilient, meaning the filler is more resilient to the forces of hyperactive muscle activity. RHA® Collection is designed to be resilient enough to adapt to your facial movements and may provide a more natural look both at rest as well as during facial motion. Most fillers only address the 3 dimensions of height, width, and depth. The RHA collection addresses the 4th dimension which is dynamic resilience. This not only gives dermal filler better tissue integration but also the potential to last longer.

What are the areas Treated with Resilient-HA?

Popular areas of treatment with Resilient-HA include:

  • Deep nasolabial or “parentheses” lines
  • Marionette or “puppet” lines
  • Ptotic, sagging mouth corners
  • Poorly defined vermilion edges
  • Thin lips
  • Lip lines and lipstick bleed
  • Hollow cheeks
  • Depressed temples
  • Weak chin or jawline

Mimics Your Natural HA

In addition to its resilience component, the RHA® collection molecules have hygroscopic properties (the ability to attach to water molecules in your body), enabling it to act more like the natural HA found in your body, resulting in less swelling post-injection.

Clean Beauty • Expertly Made • Swiss Innovation

A gentle manufacturing process by TEOXANE Laboratories in Geneva is utilized to preserve the natural structure of the HA. This allows it to closely mimic the natural hyaluronic acid found in your skin. The innovative swiss technology allows it to be specifically designed for areas with dynamic lines, folds, and volume loss.

RHA® Types

RHA® 2, RHA® 3, and RHA® 4 can treat mild, moderate, and severe facial wrinkles and folds as well as facial volume loss.
