The Magnificent Beauty Luncheon

The Annual Magnificent Beauty Luncheon was held on Wednesday, October 14 at the Capitol Grill in Palm Beach Gardens. Sponsored by Dr. Anita Mandal, Palm Beach Facial Plastic Surgeon and Miami couture designer, Ozcar G., the elegant luncheon with runway fashion show benefitted FACE TO FACE, the humanitarian arm of the Educational and Research Foundation of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

This fundraising effort for FACE TO FACE was the first of its kind in Palm Beach County to assist adults and children suffering from facial deformities as a result of birth trauma, domestic violence and war. Net proceeds supported the FACE TO FACE foundation. Dr. Anita Mandal, M.D., practicing since 1997, showcased several of her private patients who had undergone her signature procedure, the Whisper Lift. All patient models wore Ozcar G. couture and jewels by Hamilton Jewelers, to celebrate the magnificent inner and outer beauty of each and every woman.  A formal fashion show followed, showcasing runway models dressed in Ozcar G.‘s luxury collection of couture cocktail wear and one-of-a-kind gowns adorned with jewelry by www.davidandmina.com with hair and makeup by Edmund James Salon.

The elegant 3-course luncheon, paired with champagne and select wines included a drawing of numerous luxury items donated by one-of-kind fashion, handbag and jewelry designers as well as by local salon and wellness centers.

The Educational and Research Foundation for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) funds FACE TO FACE, to provide surgical correction, in the United States as well as abroad, performed by Facial Plastic Surgeons who donate their time and expertise for victims of facial deformities resulting from birth trauma, domestic violence or war. FACE TO FACE is a humanitarian and educational surgical exchange program conducted under the auspices of the Educational and Research Foundation for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS Foundation). FACE TO FACE makes the educational exchange among its surgeons all over the world an integral part of its program, working on teams with local medical personnel, sharing different surgical approaches and exchanging information and techniques.  The Educational and Research Foundation for the AAFPRS has been honored with several humanitarian awards for its work and is a 501 (c) (3), accepting tax deductible donations as well as medical supplies and equipment.
